Also known as Ta' Chapuna. The chapel's historical highlight was when the body of Malta's first Grand Master, Philip Villiers de l'Isle Adam, was held there overnight during his funeral procession from Mdina to Vittoriosa, in August 1534. The chapel was used for centuries by hunting parties who would hear Mass before indulging in their favourite sport. It suffered extensive damage during World War II, when the chapel had been used as a store.
